Where's the next leader going to come from?
One good thing about a Harper majority is that we have time to do things right! One of the most important aspects of re-building a great party is having a great leader, but where will he or she come from? With at least four years till the next election it will be easier for the Liberals to look outside the current caucus for the next leader. While there is great leadership talent within the current caucus Liberals still need to look outside to see who else is out there. I will go over some names in the future but do you have any suggesstions?
Updating The Brand
While I do like the Liberal Party logo I think one thing the "New Liberal Party" should look at is updating its branding. While it seems fairly minor I think updating the party's logo and coming up with a slogan might be a good idea. It will show Canadians that the party is ready for change, that it's ready to modernize itself to reflect the 21st century Canada.

First post
Like many people I have my own views on the future of the Liberal Party of Canada and I have decided to blog my thoughts on the issues facing the party. I'm not a member of the of the Liberal Party, or any other federal party, and I am pretty dissatisfied with all of Canada's major political parties. I consider myself someone who is right of centre and I could support either the Liberals or Conservatives under the right leader, for the last number of years however neither party have had a leader or an overall policy platform that I really liked. I really want to see the Liberal Party re-built and hopefully in the coming years they will elect a new leader and develop a true centrist platform that I could support.
